Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions

 1.  Appointment cancellation, no shows and rescheduling

We ask that you provide a minimum of 24 hour notice for any changes to the time or date of your appointment. A £50 cancellation fee will be charged if an appointment is missed, not cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hour notice. This fee will be charged and required prior to making your next appointment. Please email or call the clinic directly at the number mentioned in contact details. If you do not reach the receptionist, please leave a voice mail.

  • Consultation and Treatments for minors

For Dermatology consultation any patient below 18 years has to be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.

We do not perform any aesthetic treatments on anybody under the age of 18 years

  1. Payment

Please note that we are a private self pay clinic only. NHS does not cover the services provided by DermLink. Our consultations and treatments are not covered by any UK based insurance companies and it may be possible that some international insurance providers may be able to cover the consultations and/or treatments. Any UK or international insurance provider normally would not cover the diagnosis and treatment of cosmetic/aesthetic issues.

Our terms are payments on the day of the consultation/treatment in the clinic. Cash and all major Credit and Debit Cards are acceptable methods of payment. If you have International Private Insurance, please check with your provider first if they would cover the treatment to avoid any unexpected cost. We will issue an invoice which you may then submit to your insurance company for the purpose of reimbursement.

Please also note that if any investigations are required for the diagnosis and management of your condition including blood tests and other lab tests (e.g. any type of biopsies, skin swabs, nail/skin scrapings, and others), these will be charged separately. Please contact us to confirm a total charge if required.

  • Appointments

Please provide an email when registering as all new patients may be sent a patient information questionnaire to the email provided along with any other supporting information. This form will include your personal details, details about your medical history and any current health issues as well as details of any allergies you may have and medications you are taking. You can download the form from the website also. It is advisable to complete this prior to arriving to your appointment. Please arrive for your appointment 15 minutes in advance for any necessary questionnaires to be filled. Late arrival may result in rescheduling of your appointment.

  1. Refusal of Treatment

We reserve the right to refuse treatment at our discretion.
