Sebaceous Gland Hyperplasia
Sebaceous gland hyperplasia or sebaceous hyperplasia is the term used for small yellowish bumps usually seen on the face of middle aged and elderly people. They are benign and harmless lesions. They sometimes are confused with a type of skin cancer called basal cell skin cancer.
If treatment is sought due to their appearance or any irritation, they can be curettaged or destroyed with electrocautery.
